Information we collect
When you join the updates list, we collect:
- Your email address and, if supplied, your first name.
- The Blue Grey Games topics you select.
- Your consent and subscription status.
- Technical delivery information such as confirmations, bounces, complaints, and unsubscribe requests.
How we use it
We use this information to send the updates you requested, manage topic preferences, protect the form from abuse, and understand whether messages are being delivered. The marketing list is not used for player reminders or live-game administration.
Website analytics
Blue Grey Games uses Google Analytics to understand which public pages and game resources people use, how visitors found the site, and whether important links are useful. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies and process information such as page paths, referral and campaign information, approximate location, device information, and a small set of named interactions.
Analytics events do not include email addresses, names, invite codes, game content, or other player information. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the site tag. Analytics does not run on the Blue Grey Games staging site or in local development.
Services involved
MailerLite stores subscriber records, manages double opt-in, and delivers updates. Google reCAPTCHA helps prevent automated form submissions, and Google Analytics provides the limited website measurement described above. Their own privacy terms also apply when those services process information.

Sharing and retention
Blue Grey Games does not sell or rent the updates list. Information is shared only with services needed to operate the list or when legally required. Subscriber information is retained while a subscription is active. Limited suppression records may remain after unsubscribing so that the request continues to be honored.
Your choices
Joining requires confirmation by email. Every update includes an unsubscribe link. You can also change your topic preferences or ask for access to or deletion of your subscriber information by writing to hello@bluegreygames.com.
